Guilderland Summer Camp Gets New Archery Equipment

County Legislator Grimm celebrates the new archery equipment with staff and campers.

(July 10, 2016) - New archery equipment for Camp Adventure, a Y summer camp in Guilderland, is showcased at the camp with staff and campers. An Albany County Legislature grant of $2,000 contributed to the $2,900 price for the new targets, bows and arrows.

Guilderland county legislator Mark Grimm sponsored the grant. He hit a bull's-eye on his first shot.

The new archery equipment will help expand the program for youth campers, continue an advanced program into the fall and spring sessions, and offer adult courses in archery. The archery will also be an option for private and corporate parties and picnics at the park.
